Every year, we distribute dozens of packages of school supplies that go to children and families who cannot provide such basic needs for study and development on their own. On the one hand, a sad reality, on the other, a space for getting to know strong stories that reveal love not only between families, but also between children.
One day, a mother contacted us saying that her daughter had asked her to write to us in Pierotto, because she has a classmate who could use a package of school supplies. This story struck us because the request was initiated by the daughter who perceived that her classmate had a problem. We responded immediately, were very happy to help and sent the aid package to the right hands.
The strength of this story is that not only was the classmate who received the package of school supplies happy, but also the little girl who initiated the request for help.
It’s nice that people let us know when they know someone who needs help.
