At first glance, Samko Šofranko seems like an ordinary eleven-year-old boy. He’s in the fifth grade, attends school, plays football, and enjoys relaxing during his breaks from sports. However, his personality, energy, and skills prove every day that he is far from ordinary.
Samko lives with his mom and two siblings in Kendice, and his typical week consists of a strict school schedule and three football practices. If he could, he would train every day. His love for football is powerful enough to move mountains, and his talent is equally impressive. Even though he has only been playing for less than two years, he is already one of the best players on the FK Furča Haniska team. His coach admits that Samko is already showing himself to be a highly capable player and holds great hopes for him. In fact, several other clubs have started taking an interest in this young, talented footballer.
Support from His Family
Samko enjoys strong support from his family. They are all proud of his talent and passion for sports. There’s no greater joy for a parent than being able to say that their eleven-year-old son can’t be kept away from the football field in the summer. Unfortunately, the rising cost of living with three children is not easy for his single mother. That’s why we at Pierott, n.o. didn’t hesitate to step in and provide some basic necessities to ensure Samko’s comfort, such as a football, cleats, and a tracksuit.
Besides football, Samko also enjoys cycling and swimming, but football holds a special place in his heart. His favorite moments are when he can sprint and send high-flying shots toward the goal. He’s also a clever student, excelling in math. However, he admits that his favorite subject is physical education, because he can play football during school hours too. Samko, who is exceptionally intelligent for his age, also has big dreams for the future. He wants to become a professional football player and play for the French football club Paris Saint-Germain. But his ambitions don’t stop there. He realizes that when he plays for a French football club, he’ll need to live in France. So, he has decided that when the time comes, he will build a house for his mother in Paris, so they can always be together, take care of each other, and so he can give back everything his mother has done for him.

His football journey began when Mr. Beliš gave us a football, and Samko started spending more time on the field. It turned out that he has great talent that needs to be developed. A huge thank you goes to Marián Beliš, who has been helping us nurture the talents of my children and purchased the equipment we need.
